Come join Katie Bishop, from PrairiErth Farm, and have fun making easy, affordable and healthy lunches. We’ll use simple ingredients and the best of the best seasonal and local products. Let us do all the prep work and clean-up! Walk away with new salad ideas, easy and healthy vinaigrette recipes, and a handful of lunches to take to work or school for the week.
Together with her husband Hans, Katie Bishop raises 15 acres of certified organic vegetables, fruit and herbs on PrairiErth Farm in Atlanta, Illinois. She’s passionate about nature, the power of plants and loves to work in the starter house working with seedlings, growing and preparing medicinal herbs, or washing veggies and getting them ready for her CSA and Farmers Market customers. Katie works hard within the community to make sure local and organic food is accessible by all. She also authored the PrairiErth Farm Cookbook and recently penned Saving Back the Seasons.
